Business to Businesses Expo - Thursday, April 3rd
Ruidoso Convention Center - 12 p.m. to 5 p.m.

The Ruidoso Valley Chamber of Commerce will host the inaugural Ruidoso Business to Business Expo on Thursday, April 3rd, at the Ruidoso Convention Center. The event will be held in conjunction with Eastern New Mexico University, and the 2008 Economic Development Summit. Chamber representative Rachel Weber said this event will allow Ruidoso businesses, attractions, and organizations to showcase themselves to other local businesses, as well as the general public, and is being held in response to a request from the Chamber Membership to support such an event, according to a 2007 Chamber Membership Survey.

The Expo will be a five hour event, from 12pm to 5pm on Thursday, with a special Business After Hours event hosted by Real Estate Roundup from 5pm to 7pm. “This event is one of the initiatives requested by our Membership in the 2007 Membership Survey,” said Rachel Weber, Membership and Special Events Coordinator for the Chamber. “We want to give our local business owners a chance to showcase their businesses and network with other service providers, as well as to expose their businesses to the general public and encourage local spending,” she added. The event will be open to the public with free admission, and in addition to the tradeshow featuring local businesses, will feature door prizes, giveaways, and items for sale. The ENMU sponsored Economic Development Summit will take place on Friday, April 4th, from 9:00 am to 1:30 pm at the Ruidoso Convention Center, and will feature speakers, workshops, and discussions concerning economic and community development initiatives.

Businesses can participate in the Expo by contacting Rachel Weber at the Ruidoso Valley Chamber of Commerce, 720 Sudderth Drive, Ruidoso, NM 88345 or by email at rachel@ruidosonow.com .
