Directions from Albuquerque, New Mexico

Take I 25 South. Travel 82 miles to exit #139 US 380 East toward San Antonio and Carrizozo. Travel 75 miles through Carrizozo to Highway 37. Turn right toward Nogal, Alto & Ruidoso. Travel 14 miles to NM 48, turn right. Total Miles - 180. Driving time approximately 3 hours. Some construction remains on Hwy 48 outside of Ruidoso. Please allow for travel delays.

Directions from El Paso, Texas

Take US 54 to Alamogordo. Merge onto US 54/70 North in Alamgordo. Travel through Alamogordo to Tularosa. Merge right to US 70 East. Travel 30 miles to Ruidoso. Total miles - 133. Driving time approximately 2 ½ hours.

Directions from Roswell, New Mexico

Take US 70 West to Ruidoso. The Hwy 70 construction is almost finished, but there may still be a few delays. Please take the time for a leisurely trip and allow for any delays due to construction.

Flying In...

Visitors to Ruidoso often fly into either El Paso, Texas or Albuquerque, New Mexico. Private planes can fly into the Sierra Blanca Regional Airport in Ruidoso.
