Business After Hours

The Business After Hours events provide members the opportunity to network with other business people while showcasing their own business, products and related services. We work with those we know and this is the perfect opportunity to get to know our members. The calendar to host a Business After Hours event begins filling up early so call the Chamber today to pick your date.

Annual Banquet

The annual membership meeting is held as an annual banquet with a time to reflect on the past year and recognize those exceptional citizens and businesses in the Ruidoso area.

Connect and communicate with each other

Quarterly Breakfast

Usually reserved for a more formal, big topic presentation, the Quarterly Breakfast is another opportunity for members to learn about community issues while sharing a meal with colleagues.

Volunteering

Businesses that are a visible part of the community are seen as more trustworthy, attain better brand recognition and get to know their customers.Volunteering for chamber events is a fun way to meet others. Participating in committees allows others to benefit from your knowledge. One of the most rewarding volunteer opportunities is to join the Chamber Board of Directors. These leaders in our community help guide the director of the business projects of our community.

Lincoln County Day in Santa Fe

Without visible support of business and our governmental leaders during the legislative session, our local economy may ultimately suffer from lack of needed state resources to provide much needed capital for governmental projects. To actively engage area legislators, each year the Ruidoso Valley Chamber of Commerce with community businesses, hosts Lincoln County Day in Santa Fe. Usually held in early February.

Special Events

In no other way does the community truly pull together, than for the myriad of special events held in Ruidoso each year. The RVCC hosts several events throughout the year and provides sponsorship opportunities to members wishing to gain exposure to the thousands that enjoy these events.

AspenFest

To celebrate the crisp, cool autumn, the RVCC hosts a parade with school bands, floats from local businesses and our area celebrity – Smokey Bear. The parade is only part of the weekend which is usually filled with craft shows, chili cook-offs, and hot rod exhibits

Festival Of Lights

We are a winter wonderland and Ruidoso organizations create a two-month long festival of performing arts, nativity celebrations, and twinkling lights. The entire town is lit and is the perfect backdrop for the Parade of Lights, voted one of the top 100 parades in the nation!

Ruidoso Art Festival

A tradition since 1971 and held the last full weekend in July, the Festival is consistently named one of the top juried fine art shows in the nation. The Festival is the Chamber’s largest fund raising event each year.
